Taiping Mountain is 1,950 meters above sea level. Although it has the word "mountain" in its name, it is not a mountain, but a general name for a mountainous area in Yilan!

The Taipingshan Bungee Railway is a ginger-colored bungee train with several suspended carriages that travels through the mountains and forests. As the clanging sounds echo, the train continues to run through the towering primitive forests, occasionally emitting a "woohoo" whistle, adding to the fun and interest.

The logging years of Taipingshan were slowly carried out in this green land, but ended due to the decline of forestry. However, due to the abundant forest resources, it was developed into the Taipingshan Forest Recreation Area. There are many trails in the park, where you can enjoy a cool forest bath and the phytoncides brought by the trees. It is a natural summer resort that tourists flock to.

Remember to buy tickets at the Bong Tak Bus Station. The first bus departs at 7:30 and the last bus is adjusted to 16:00. There is a bus (81 seats) every hour and half hour, with a total of 18 buses per day. If you want to breathe in some phytoncides and bathe in the forest at the final stop, don’t miss the last bus back home!
