The National Center for Traditional Arts is a third-tier affiliated institution under the Ministry of Culture. Its primary mission is to coordinate, plan, and promote the investigation, preservation, transmission, and promotion of Taiwan's traditional arts.
The Yilan Center for Traditional Arts (National Center for Traditional Arts) is truly a fun destination. In addition to appreciating Taiwan's traditional folk arts, most of the folk crafts offer hands-on DIY experiences, making it an educational and entertaining activity—perfect for bringing children during summer vacation to learn and explore.
The National Center for Traditional Arts is quite expansive and can take a whole day to explore. However, as long as you remember the "Three Museums, Three Streets, and Three Buildings," you won't miss the key attractions.
