Luodong Forestry Culture Park

🏞️ The Luodong Forestry Cultural Park, located in Luodong Township, Yilan County, formerly housed the former Luodong Branch Office and timber storage ponds during the Japanese colonial period, spans approximately 16 hectares. The park preserves intact forestry facilities, including timber storage ponds, forest railways, steam locomotives, and Japanese-style houses. It was designated a cultural landscape in 2012.

Combining history, ecology, and recreation, it features a circular pond trail, an aquatic plant pond, and several forestry exhibition halls (including the Forest Products Hall and the Forest Life Hall) showcasing the history of Taipingshan's forestry industry. Admission is free and the park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it a perfect place to experience forestry culture and natural beauty.
