underground wonderland. The stalactites under the colorful lights are so beautiful they'll leave you speechless🥹
🔥Must-visit Guide:
📍Jiuxiang Caves
🕘Suggested visiting time: 3-4 hours
💰Ticket price: 90 RMB (includes boat ride)
The colorful lights in the caves illuminate the entire underground world, making it dreamlike and ethereal. Remember to prepare enough camera memory! All kinds of strangely shaped stalactites look especially magical under the lights, giving it a full cinematic feel. It's recommended to wear non-slip shoes, as the caves can be quite slippery~
💡Tips:
1. The caves maintain a temperature of around 18℃ year-round, so remember to bring a light jacket if you visit in summer.
2. The boat ride section is super photogenic. Remember to sit by the edge to capture reflections.
3. After 4 PM, there will be fewer people, and the lighting is also better for photos.
4. You can watch a few movies filmed in Jiuxiang beforehand, such as "The Myth," for a more immersive experience.
🚗Transportation Guide:
Driving from Kunming takes about 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, you can take a long-distance bus from Xiaoximen to Yiliang, then transfer to a local vehicle to the scenic area.
🍜Nearby Food:
Yiliang Roast Duck is a must-try! Recommended restaurant: Xuecheng Restaurant, located near the scenic area.
The cold rolled rice noodles from street vendors are also super delicious, sour and spicy, perfect for whetting your appetite.
