Zhuquan Village, located in Yinan County, Linyi City, is one of 'China's Top Ten Most Beautiful Villages'. It is simple, natural, and genuinely pure, a real-life 'Peach Blossom Spring', filled with a unique atmosphere of bamboo groves, a sacred land of bamboo, a blessed place of caves and grottoes. The village, with a history of more than 400 years, was formerly known as Quanshang Village and was renamed Zhuquan Village during the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty. The village is situated in the hinterland of the Yimeng Mountains, with Yuhuang Mountain to the north, Shilong Mountain, and Fenghuang Ridge; it lies beside the Xiangshan River. Springs give rise to bamboo, hence the name: Zhuquan. Water flows around the village along the streets and alleys, and the villagers build their stone houses alongside the spring streams. With bamboo groves in front of and behind the houses, the village is bathed in bright sunshine outside, while inside, the bamboo forest provides shade. The murmuring streams, the chirping insects, and the singing birds create a picturesque scene reminiscent of the misty landscapes of the Jiangnan region, showcasing the spiritual charm of bamboo and spring. Strolling through the village is refreshing to the mind and spirit, and the display of various folk customs within the natural setting also adds color to the scenic area. Zhuquan Village, integrating mountain and water ecology, dwellings, and local customs, has become a distinctive 4A-level rural tourism attraction.
