Follow Black Myth: Wukong to explore Shanxi | Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, one of the world's three extraordinary towers.

Shanxi is a paradise for architecture enthusiasts. There's a saying, "Look underground in Shaanxi, look above ground in Shanxi," and it truly holds up 👍. Today, we visited the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, one of the world's three extraordinary towers. The other two? The Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Tower 🗼—isn't that impressive? Recently, it gained renewed fame thanks to Black Myth: Wukong. So, what makes it so remarkable?

The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda was constructed during the Liao Dynasty, and the entire structure was built without using a single nail, relying solely on mortise-and-tenon joints—an incredible feat 👍. However, due to its age, the pagoda has started to tilt slightly, and visitors can no longer access floors above the second level, which is a pity. Still, it's absolutely worth a visit. It's genuinely fascinating ❤️.
