Comparable to Northern Europe, less popular than Altay, the last winter secret place in Xinjiang!

As the saying goes, if you haven’t been to Xinjiang, you don’t know how big China is; if you haven’t been to Yili, you don’t know how beautiful the world is! Compared to the skiing paradise of Altay, there are fewer tourists in Yili in winter.
When the mountains, grasslands, lakes and rivers are covered with snow, it is all mysterious and peaceful. It is the last miracle that the world has never seen!

⑤ Xiata (free until March next year)
There are fewer people in Xiata in winter, so you can drive directly into the scenic area, but you can't drive further after reaching Jiangjun Bridge. We chose to hike up the mountain instead of riding horses. The whole way was covered with snow. I would describe this beauty as unique and secluded from the world.

✔️Other tips:
1: When returning to Yining from Xiata, it is recommended to check in at Zhaosu Yuhu Lake. The lake water is bluer than the sky and its beauty cannot be described in words. After January, you can even walk on the frozen lake.
2: There is no hotel in Sailimu Lake Scenic Area, but staying one night in Xiata Scenic Area is very worthwhile. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the hotel. The environment is similar to that of the all-season hotel, and you can also see the golden mountain in the morning.
