Yoho National Park

#hellohalloween

Emerald Lake is a glacial lake located in Yoho National Park in British Columbia, Canada. Known for its stunning, vibrant turquoise waters, the lake is surrounded by the towering peaks of the President Range in the Canadian Rockies. The lake's distinctive color comes from "rock flour," or fine glacial silt, suspended in the water. The water is fed by glaciers and is most colorful during the summer months when glacial melt increases. The hues of the lake change with the light, offering a different view throughout the day.
