[Yokohama] Yokohama Sogo, a historic department store

The first large building you can access when heading towards the sea from Yokohama Station is the Sogo Yokohama store, commonly known as Yokohama Sogo. As the flagship store of the Sogo brand of department stores, it boasts some of the highest sales in the country.

It is a historic department store that opened about 40 years ago. At the entrance from Yokohama Porta, various gourmet foods from the basement of the department store are lined up. As you go up from there, the specialty stores become more popular. It can also be used to access the bus terminal and Yokohama Bay Quarter, so many people probably use it.
