Negishi Forest Park

Negishi Forest Park or "Negishi Shinrin Koen" is one of the largest parks in Yokohama with a surface area covering over 1800 square meters. It was originally built as a racing track in 1867, it was home to the first western style horse racing in Japan.

It is a very spacious park where kids can play, and where friends and families have a picnic. It also has a jogging course around the perimeter. You can visit this park all year round.

Getting there:

From JR Negishi Station, ride the bus 103 or 360 to ‘Taki-no-ue’ bus stop which drops you off directly in front of the main entrance. The fare is about 220 Yen.
