[Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama] Elephant's Nose Terrace: Exhibition focusing on new textiles

#AbsolutelyFreeTravel

Elephant's Nose Terrace launched the ZOU-NO-HANAGALLERY SERIES in 2020, aiming to create opportunities to encounter artists' creative expression in everyday life. The 13th installment of the series, an exhibition centered on new textiles by Yokohama-based fashion designer/art director Mitsushi Yanaihara (Studio Nibroll, Inc.), will run from July 18th (Friday) to July 27th (Sunday).

Yanaihara, who has always sincerely engaged with fabric, returned to his roots and exhibited works born from dialogue and interaction with the creators around him.

The open space allows visitors to eat their lunch or spend time as they please. The fabrics created a new space, creating a bright and refreshing atmosphere.

I usually focus on things that have already taken shape, so I don't often have a chance to focus on textiles, but when I see a large piece of fabric like this, I find it fascinating to think about what it will become.
