"Sarushima" - said to be the origin of Laputa

Sarushima, the only uninhabited island in Tokyo Bay, is located in Kanagawa Prefecture.

This island has an atmosphere similar to that of the famous Ghibli movie "Laputa."

The island was used from the Meiji period to World War II, and many ruins remain.

It's about a 10-minute ferry ride from Yokosuka, so it's one of the islands you can easily get to.
