I went to Sarushima, an uninhabited island floating in Tokyo Bay! It's easy to access from Tokyo, but I was surprised at how it felt like another world😌❤️
Sarushima was once used as a military fortress, and remnants of it still remain here and there. In particular, the brick tunnels and remains of artillery batteries made me feel like I was in a game✨The whole island is covered in greenery and is rich in nature. There are hiking trails, so I was able to take a pleasant stroll☺️💓From the top, I could see Tokyo Bay in its entirety, which was a spectacular view~
The last time I went, it was at night, so this was my first time seeing Sarushima during the day! It was a fun island with lots of photogenic spots 🥳 Enjoy it together with sightseeing in Yokosuka 🫶
