This is one of the largest sake brewing museums in the Tohoku region, located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture.
Toko is a sake brewed by Kojima Sohonten, which was founded in 1597 during the Azuchi-Momoyama period and later became the official sake brewery of the Uesugi family.

① Old sake brewer's residence and brewing storehouse
The brewing storehouse is a renovated large earthen storehouse with a floor area of 450 tsubo, where sake brewing was actually carried out.
