Stop 5: Maple Avenue (Photos 1-5)
On the way from Lishui Ancient Street to Shiwaiyan Scenic Area, you will pass a Maple Avenue. The maple leaves 🍁 were not fully red in early December, but they were already spectacular.

Stop 6: Shiwaiyan Scenic Area (Photos 6-18)
Shiwaiyan is one of the core scenic areas of Nanxi River, and you can see Shiwaiyan at the entrance. After entering the scenic area, you can enjoy the autumn scenery along the way, with clear water and beautiful mountains, and colorful autumn colors. There are several very vivid peaks, such as the Soldier Cliff (Photo 9), which looks like a soldier wearing a helmet, the Soaring Eagle Cliff (Photo 10), the Kirin with small wings (Photo 12), and a fish bone (Photo 18, which forms a complete image with the reflection).

Stop 7: Yubei Ancient Village (Photos 19-20)
The most amazing place, this place is the ancestral hall built by the descendants of the Wang family (originally from Shexian County, Huizhou) in the Tang Dynasty during the Song Dynasty, which has been preserved for so long. This family produced three jinshi in the Song Dynasty, at least one of whom was awarded the title of zhuangyuan, which made us admire them very much. We did not expect such a rich cultural atmosphere in such a small ancient village, which also put a perfect end to our trip to Nanxi River.
