Let go and relax..Slow life at Yufuin

This was our first time visiting #Yufuin from Fukuoka. We had already purchased train tickets, so we had to check the train schedule and train times at the station, as both reserved and non-reserve options were listed. We were non-reserve, but luckily, we still managed to get a seat.

🇯🇵 We arrived in Yufuin at the end of October, and the weather was perfect. We spent three hours walking around Yufuin. The atmosphere was lined with shops, restaurants, and souvenir shops, making it easy to wander in and out. If you're a Ghibi fan, you'll feel lost in the shops, with all the cute and adorable items.

🇯🇵 Toku Green Tea Shop: I highly recommend this place for green tea lovers. They're truly renowned for their fragrant and unsweetened green tea, which is incredibly healthy. It's truly amazing! Each cup costs about 150 baht.

🇯🇵 We stopped for some green tea and strawberry mochi [the shop is located near the green tea shop]. They were delicious and energized us, giving us the energy to keep going, as our destination was the lake. Before long, we were greeted by the beauty of Lake Kinrin. It's like a painting painted by an artist. The stillness of the lake makes us stand still and admire the beauty before us.

🇯🇵 Then we walked back. Honestly, we got a little lost, but in that lostness, we found a beautiful view, just as beautiful: rice paddies, bridges, and water. It was so worth it.

🇯🇵 From here, we headed back to Fukuoka city. We didn't stay here. If you have a chance to visit Fukuoka, don't forget to stop by and experience the slow life in Yufuin. #yufuin #fukuoka #Japan
