A Record of a Kyushu Road Trip
Every day feels like traveling the distance between Taipei and Kaohsiung.
This trip to Japan involved eating the most beef ever.
Spent every day in the mountains, completely isolated from the world.

Kumamoto Aso Volcano
Unfortunately, the conditions were not ideal.
Kusasenri lacked water, and the volcanic crater was fully restricted due to toxic gases.
Is this a sign to come back to Aso again?

As the fifth person to reserve a boat, I woke up at 8 AM Taiwan time to secure it.
The fourth parking lot is extremely far.
If you arrive without a reservation, be prepared to wait for three hours.

Oita Yufuin
Walking from the mountain to the town takes about 30 minutes, just to reach a convenience store.
Even with a one-night stay including two meals, convenience store food is still a must.

Hoshino Resorts KAI
Quite beautiful.

Fukuoka was just a passing stop.

Unzen Nagao Shrine was a bit disappointing due to low tide.
Kuradake Shrine in Amakusa Islands
If you get carsick easily on mountain roads, think twice.
You’ll definitely feel sick, but it’s worth it.

Kumamoto Airport
The domestic terminal offers better shopping than the international terminal.

A little imperfection during the trip doesn’t seem like a bad thing.
