However, I personally think that it takes only about 30 minutes to walk from the entrance of the village to the center, and it is well worth the time to walk slowly as a hiking destination.
2. Transportation information: Public transportation to Yuhu Village is not convenient. Although you can reach the village directly by transferring buses, the frequency of the buses is very low and they are not very punctual. It is recommended to take a taxi or drive yourself. It costs about 60 yuan for a one-way taxi ride from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town to Yuhu Village, which takes about 40 minutes.
3. Accommodation and dining information: There are some guesthouses and restaurants in Yuhu Village. If you like slow-paced hiking, you can choose to stay in the village. However, the accommodation prices in the village are high, with an average price of around 500 yuan, which is much higher than the room rates in Lijiang Ancient Town.
4. Precautions: The altitude of Yuhu Village is quite high, right under Yulong Snow Mountain, so it is important to be aware of altitude sickness and UV protection. It is recommended to prepare some cardiovascular and cerebrovascular medicines, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
