The Ancient Tea-Horse Road was once the main transportation and economic trade route through Yunnan, Tibet, and Sichuan. In those days, transportation was difficult, and the terrain in Yunnan, Tibet, and Sichuan was extremely rugged. Routes were carved out by the footsteps of both humans and horses.
