Opened in 2001, Dragondola was designed to link two major ski resorts—Naeba and Kagura—but its popularity soared thanks to its stunning views during spring and autumn. The name “Dragondola” comes from the sensation of riding along the back of a dragon, as the gondola glides up and down over valleys and ridges.
