Zhangjiajie Free Tour (1 night) Tianmen Mountain Review

#100TravelStyles #SoloTravel

Review of a solo trip to Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain

These days, Course A is popular among Chinese people,
so I went on Course B from 6:30-8:00 in the morning.
I originally tried to buy the ticket on the Chinese site 去哪,
but only a local ID was accepted (passport was not accepted),
so I bought it on Trip.com.
When entering, if you show the staff your PIN number and ID,
they will scan the QR for you, and you can take a picture of it and use it when you get off. (Not used anywhere else)

You can originally take the free shuttle bus from here to Tianmen Mountain, but since I had to come with other people, I took a taxi around 6:05 in front of Zhangjiajie Station and came alone.

When you arrive at the parking lot, there are many shops selling breakfast on the left,
but the prices are not that cheap and the food is not that delicious,
so I don't recommend it, but if you are really hungry, it might be okay to eat here. A simple Chinese breakfast(?) 鸡蛋煎饼🫓 was about 15 yuan.

There is Chinese sausage inside, but I do not recommend it for those who are sensitive to spices and do not like pink sausages.

Anyway, if you take a taxi, it is not as expensive as you think,
and it is faster than the shuttle bus, so there are fewer people, which is good.

I was able to enter even before 6:30,
and since there were few people, I was able to ride the cable car alone, which was nice.

And when I slowly looked around and came down, it was around 10:30, but around 8-9 o'clock, I passed Tianmen Cave and walked further,
and I ran into people from Course A on the other side, and the number of people started to increase.

And the wishing belt is about 5 yuan, and you can pay with cash, Weixing, or Zifubao (early pay).

If you are traveling to Tianmen Mountain on your own, I highly recommend B in the morning.

And the last part of the B course is to take a cable car down to Tianmen Mountain Road. It takes about 20 minutes to ride the cable car down.
(It was the longest cable car in the world(?).)

When you get down, there is a milk tea shop called Chafeng Yuese, which is known to only sell milk tea/milk tea in Hunan Province.
This shop makes milk tea with tea base (black tea, oolong, green tea, etc.) and you drink it without any seasoning. It is so delicious that I recommend you try it while you are there. (You can also adjust the sugar content!)

If you have any questions, please leave a comment~,~
