Zhangjiajie Tianmen Fox Fairy Show Guide

**Attractions**
"Fox Fairy of Tianmen: New Liu Hai Cuts Wood" is the world's first real-life musical in a mountain canyon. It uses Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain as its natural stage and integrates Xiangxi folk legends with modern stage technology. The plot depicts the tragic love between a human and a fox. Thousands of actors dance among the mountains and rivers. Lights, waterfalls, and the moonlit night interweave into a magical epic.

**Game guide**
The show lasts 90 minutes, and we recommend arriving 1 hour in advance to choose your seat. During the summer session (20:20), you can watch the sunset shining against the stage; during the winter session (19:30), you need to bring warm clothes. Combined with a daytime tour of Tianmen Mountain, the trip to watch the night show will be smoother.

**SHADOW PHASE**
1. **Back row of the auditorium**: Panoramic view of the mountain lights and the giant fox fairy sculpture.
2. **Panoramic view of the stage before the show**: Use dusk light to capture the blend of natural and artificial light and shadow.
3. **Fireworks after curtain call**: Continuous shooting mode records the fireworks and actors’ curtain call.

**Food Recommendations**
At the snack street outside the theater, you must try the "Tujia bacon skewers" and "wormwood cakes". We recommend the "Tianmen Shanju" restaurant's stewed chicken with rock fungus and three-pot dishes, which are authentic Hunan flavors that can accompanies your viewing experience.

**TICKETS**
Ordinary seats are ¥238, VIP seats are ¥588 (including exclusive viewing platform and souvenirs), and children under 1.2 meters are free of charge. There is often a 10% discount on packages purchased from the official website or travel agencies.

**transportation**
Self-driving: Next to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway, navigate to "Tianmen Fox Fairy Theater" about 10 minutes drive away.
Public transportation: Take bus No. 4/5 in the city to Guanliping Station and walk for 15 minutes to arrive.

**OPENING HOURS**
One show every night, 20:20-21:50 in summer, 19:30-21:00 in winter (November-March). It may be cancelled on rainy days, so be sure to confirm in advance.

**TIPS**
1. The temperature difference is large at night in the mountains, so bring a thin down jacket or shawl to keep warm.
2. VIP seats have better views but the price difference is large, so the mid-range ordinary seats are the best choice for cost-effectiveness.
3. Flash photography is prohibited during the performance. Please prepare a telephoto lens or use the telephoto mode on your phone.
4. There will be a large crowd after the show, so make an appointment for a return vehicle to avoid waiting for a long time.
