Tusi City, Zhangjiajie

Tujia Folk Customs Park, also known as Tusi City, Zhangjiajie, is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction located in Yongding District, Zhangjiajie. Formerly known as Yongding Tusi City, it was built in 1730 and has a history of nearly 300 years. The Nine-layer Diaojiao Building is one of the most eye-catching buildings in Tusi City. Built on a mountain, it is 48m high with 9 layers and 12 stories. It is entirely connected by wood tenons without a single iron nail, which reflects the superb architectural skills of the Tujia people. In 2002, it was rated as the highest Diaojiao Building and won the Guinness World Record.
