Exploring the Avatar World ⛰️🌏

Affectionately known as the avatar mountains, the Zhangjiajie national Forest Park in Hunan. China is truly a breathtaking place. You have such a huge choice of where to go and what to do. Personally, I began at the Eastgate, taking the mountain car all the way to the top before descending by foot only to then choose to hike up another mountain for another look at the amazing view. While challenging, I would definitely recommend this itinerary. You truly get to be one with nature and there’s so much of it around you. From butterflies to dragonflies, they are all flying around and even wild macaques will gracefully stroll up and pose for you! You don’t just get to see them from a distance, they are right within touching distance of you. However, if you’re coming here, make sure you bring lots of water and energy for hiking as it can be quite a challenging trek at times, but every step is worth it.
