A Climb into the Heavens ☁️

Lots of people think that Zhangjiajie is just the Avatar mountains! Alas, it is surrounded by so many of them. On this trip I visited 天门山/Tianmen Mountain, in Chinese this means Heavenly Gate. And wow it really is heavenly up here! Despite the low clouds, I was still able to capture some really amazing photos. To begin with you take a particularly nerve inducing cable car up to the mountain top (because it’s so high off the ground). Once there you are free to roam however you like, by either the west line or east line. However be prepared for a lot of walking and hiking. Even so, you will catch some amazing views and the temples feel so historic!
