West Lake Walks

#chinatravel West Lake is one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. I showed up with zero plans and ended up spending the whole day just walking, boat riding, and taking way too many photos. The lake is huge but super walkable, with little bridges, gardens, and old pagodas popping up everywhere.

I took a chill boat ride across the lake which was honestly the move. The views hit different from the water and it’s so quiet out there. On land, the paths are lined with willow trees and random spots to sit and just vibe. People were painting, playing music, even dancing. It felt like a movie.

Grabbed some snacks from a street vendor and sat by the water for a bit and it was just pure peace. There’s history here too but you don’t need to know it to enjoy the scenery. Whether you're solo or with friends this place is the perfect slow day. Big yes from me.
