Nanhu Qiuyue Garden is located on the bank of Nanhu Lake in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town and is divided into four scenic areas: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The Spring and Summer Scenic Areas are characterized by landscape gardens, centered around a lotus pond. The Lake Viewing Tower, the Lake Center Pavilion, and the Nine-Curve Bridge are situated alongside the pond, while Lingbo Stone Boats face each other across the water. This exudes the tranquility and elegance of a classical garden. In spring, weeping willows sway beside the pond, and hundreds of flowers bloom in profusion. In summer, the lotus pond is ablaze with verdant canopies and golden carp leaping in the water. The Autumn Scenic Area, a collection of halls, pavilions, shrines, and rockery, exudes a sense of antiquity. Among these, Siyu Hall and Jiyingzhai were built in memory of Zhang Han, while Liubinkeshe and Mengdexie were constructed in memory of Liu Yuxi, replacing the original Liugong Temple.

The winter scenic area is centered on Quanfujiang Temple, a typical garden temple. The temple buildings and pavilions are mostly floating on the water. It is known as the "Buddhist Kingdom in the Water" and the scenery is very beautiful.
