Awakening from a dream, the Red Mansion is empty, a city for the niche

Previously, when I went to Harbin, I chose the airport in Shijiazhuang, Hebei as a transit point because the transit ticket was cheaper. So I picked a city I had never been to as a transit stop and left 8 hours to explore Shijiazhuang!
🔸Here’s my citywalk route to share with everyone:
Zhengding Ancient City (you can eat and shop here) ➡️ Longxing Temple (you can spend one to two hours here) ➡️ Hebei Museum (this is very large and can be toured for an entire afternoon) ➡️ Zhengding Night Market
🔸Let me focus on Longxing Temple. Don’t underestimate it; it’s definitely worth a visit!
Because it has China’s “Six Most”!
1️⃣ The Seated Guanyin Statue facing backward. This is in photo 1, praised by Mr. Lu Xun as the “Goddess of the East”! Stunningly beautiful!
2️⃣ The Prayer Wheel Cabinet. The oldest and largest prayer wheel cabinet in China.
3️⃣ The Mani Hall from the Song Dynasty. A unique ancient Chinese architectural structure.
4️⃣ The Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Bronze Guanyin. The tallest ancient bronze Buddha statue in the world.
5️⃣ The Longzang Temple Stele. The top stele from the Sui Dynasty.
6️⃣ The Bronze Vairocana Buddha. The foremost ancient bronze statue in China.
If, like me, you have a night flight, you can skip the Zhengding Night Market and spend more time at Longxing Temple and the Hebei Museum, both great places to learn about history and culture!
