A poetic rendezvous with mountains and rivers in Dagang, Zhenjiang

🌄 Embark on an amazing trip in Dagang, Zhenjiang.

🏨 I stayed at Chengmei Apartment Hotel (Dagang South Railway Station Branch), and I was really satisfied! I booked a superior decompression king room, which was spacious and bright, with a simple and modern design. I felt super relaxed as soon as I entered the room. It also has a code lock, which is safe and convenient. There is a barbecue restaurant downstairs. After visiting the scenic spots, I had a delicious barbecue, which made me feel so happy!

🚶‍♂ The surrounding attractions each have their own characteristics. Jiaoshan Mountain, a precious island standing in the Yangtze River, was formerly known as Qiaoshan Mountain, Qiaoshan Mountain, and Fuyu Mountain. Later, it was renamed to commemorate Jiao Guang, a hermit of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The Dinghui Temple on the mountain is filled with incense, the Qianlong Palace has a long history, and the Jiaoshan Stele Forest contains many precious stone carvings, such as the Stele of Crane Burial, which is known as the "Ancestor of Big Characters" and carries a profound history and culture. Strolling on Jiaoshan Mountain, watching the lush mountains and forests, and listening to the sound of the river, it feels like traveling through thousands of years.

🏯 Jinshan Temple is also not to be missed. It is located on Jinshan Mountain in the northwest of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,600 years. During the Qing Dynasty, it was one of the four famous temples in China, along with Putuo Temple, Wenshu Temple, and Daming Temple. This is the place where the myth of the White Snake flooding Jinshan Temple took place. The seven-story pagoda and the White Dragon Cave are all full of mystery. Walking into Jinshan Temple, with its red walls and yellow tiles, and its flying eaves and brackets, the temple is filled with incense, and the monks' chanting seems to be telling ancient stories.

This trip to Dagang, Zhenjiang was comfortable and fun. Every scenery was intoxicating. I look forward to the next encounter!
