The first regular revolutionary armed independent group

🏯The first regular revolutionary armed force led by the Communist Party of China, the Ye Ting Independent Regiment, was established in Yuejiang Tower. The Ye Ting Chu Li Yuan was the first revolutionary armed force formed and led by the Communist Party of China in its early days and composed of Communist Party members as its backbone. The regiment was established on November 21, 1925 in Zhaoqing, Guangdong.

📍Yuejiang Tower faces south and is 2 stories high. It is divided into 4 buildings: south, north, east and west. It is a typical Guangdong courtyard-style ancient building. It was first built between the sixth and tenth years of the Xuande reign of the Ming Dynasty (1431-1435), and was renamed "Yuejiang Tower" after being renovated in the fourteenth year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty (1641). It was rebuilt in the fourteenth year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1657) and has been repaired throughout the dynasties.

🏆It was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 2019. It is currently a national patriotism digital education demonstration base, a national national defense education demonstration base, and a Guangdong Provincial Party Member Education Base.
