A 10-day trip to Guizhou with my parents.

We used to travel separately. My parents would travel during off-peak seasons, while I would go on outdoor trips during holidays. I would book flights and hotels and plan itineraries for them, and we would set off separately. This year, I was going to see the peach blossoms in Nyingchi, but I was delayed by work. My parents wanted to visit Guizhou, a province I had never been to. I thought about how we had never traveled together, so I planned a trip to "show my parents the world."

Itinerary:
March 26: Fly from Shanghai Hongqiao to Guiyang in the evening
March 27: 6:30 am, Bijie Baili Azalea Scenic Area day tour
March 28: 8 am, pick up the car and head to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, visit the area on the same day
March 29: Drive to Qingyan Ancient Town
March 30: 8 am, head to Guiyang North to return the car, take the high-speed train to Tongren at 11 am, take a bus and then a taxi for 2 hours to Jiangkou Town
March 31: 9 am, head to Mount Fanjing, leave luggage at Yunshang
April 1: 9 am, take a bus to Zhenyuan Ancient Town
April 2: 9 am, take a bus to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village
April 3: 9 am, take a bus to Xiaokong Scenic Area
April 4: 7 am, take a bus to Guiyang, arrive in 4 hours, fly back to Shanghai at 8:55 pm

Summary: Most attractions in Guizhou are free for people over 60, except Yamugou in Tongren. Tickets for popular attractions must be purchased online in advance, and a time slot must be reserved. Buses between attractions are very convenient. The average cost per person for 10 days is about CNY 5,000.

Tips: Libo: 3 hours in the afternoon for a quick tour, stay in the scenic area and visit for 2 hours in the morning, ending at Cuigu Waterfall; Mount Fanjing (3 hours is enough): stay one night at Yunshang. These are the two places I found most comfortable. As for Zhenyuan and Xijiang, you can visit them if you haven't been there before, but I wouldn't consider going again.
