[3-day tour of Guizhou's secret landscape] Visit the fairyland Xiaoqikong, the magnificent Huangguoshu, and the ancient Wujiang Village

When it comes to China's secret place to escape the world, many people think of Yunnan or Zhangjiajie first, but the place that really makes me heart and can't wait to delete it after taking one photo after another is actually - Guizhou.

Mountains, water, quiet, few tourists. On this 3-day trip, I visited Xiaoqikong, Huangguoshu Waterfall and Wujiangzhai. Each stop seemed to open the door to a fairyland. Here is the Guizhou trio in my eyes:

🍃 First stop: Little Seven Kong - the Emerald Secret Realm hidden in the forest

Xiao Qi Kong is the most fairy-like place in Guizhou in my opinion, the water is as clear as glass, the moss stone bridge, the emerald green lake water, plus the sound of the gurgling stream, is completely a natural white noise healing field.

Must-sees are Raya Falls, Water Forest and 68-level Falling Waterfall, which unfold like ink paintings along the way.

📍 Check-in tip: Remember to wear sandals or slippers in the water forest, wade directly into the green forest, feel the coolness of "stepping on the stream".
📸 Recommended angle: The small seven-hole ancient bridge across the clear water, the middle of the station looking back at the woods, the film rate is super high.

🌊 Stop 2: Yellow Fruit Tree Waterfall - a spectacular wonder surrounded by water vapor

The Yellow Fruit Tree is one of the largest group of waterfalls in Asia. You can already hear the roaring water from afar. The main waterfall is 77.8 meters high, and you get wet all over if you walk a little closer, but it’s cool!

The most shocking thing is to walk into the water curtain cave behind the waterfall and experience the feeling of "there is a universe within". Viewing the Yellow Fruit Tree from the front, side, and back angles is a completely different level of shock.

📍 Recommended time: Go less people in the morning, by the way avoid the daylight.
📸 Shooting highlights: The Yellow Fruit Tree Falls observation deck faces the main waterfall; remember to bring a waterproof bag!

🏯 Stop 3: Wujiang Village - an ancient mountain city surrounded by mountains

Unlike the natural scenery of the previous two stops, Wujiangzhai is a cultural town full of historical atmosphere. The whole village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with stilted buildings, bluestone streets and red lanterns hanging high. It's so romantic that you don't want to leave after lighting the lanterns at night.

You can wear a Hanfu and slowly walk through the alleys, take a few photos with a full sense of "travel", or sit in a riverside teahouse and stare at the passing wooden boats in a daze. It is more tranquil and intriguing than the popular ancient towns.

📍Travel Tips: The night view of Wujiangzhai is worth a night, it is recommended to stay at a local characteristic B&B.
📸 Must-see spot: Wujiang Suspension Bridge + reflection of ancient buildings by the river (the most beautiful at dusk!)

🧳 Summary: Guizhou is a journey of turquoise, waterfalls and ancient rhymes intertwined

The beauty of Guizhou can not be said by taking pictures alone, but in every sound of walking, every time you look up at the sky, every breath of fresh air, slowly seeping into your heart. The little seven holes taught me to slow down, the yellow fruit tree taught me to respect nature, and the Wujiang Village reminded me to quietly feel the passage of time.

📅 Recommended trip time: 3 ~ 4 days free trip just right, can cooperate with Guiyang or Libo airport access
🍽 Must-try delicacies: Guizhou rice noodles, silk doll, fish in sour soup
👜 Tip: Get your waterproof jacket, good walking shoes, charger and camera ready to go!
