Is the Huangguoshu Waterfall Water Curtain Cave worth visiting?

During the summer vacation, I took my family to travel in Guizhou, and visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall was a must. When visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall, you can choose to visit the Water Curtain Cave or not. I strongly recommend everyone to definitely visit the Water Curtain Cave. If there are many people, you can avoid peak times, but since you’re here, the Water Curtain Cave is absolutely not to be missed.

After booking the entrance to the Water Curtain Cave, there is a stretch of road that is perfect for taking photos, allowing you to capture the waterfall from multiple angles. It’s best to wear a raincoat when entering the Water Curtain Cave; if you don’t, there is a section with heavy mist that will get you wet. The cave floor is quite slippery, so be careful and avoid taking photos while walking.

After exiting the cave, there is a great viewpoint (see the last few pictures) that visitors who don’t enter the cave won’t see.

📌Tips: Book your cave entry in advance according to your visit time, or you can buy a ticket like we did, so you don’t have to worry about reservations. Don’t take the escalator all the way down and then climb back up; a less tiring option is to walk downhill from the entrance all the way to the Water Curtain Cave entrance—it’s not tiring at all.
