China's largest waterfall - Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou 🏞️
Located in Guizhou, the Huangguoshu Waterfall stands 77.8 meters tall and spans 101 meters wide, making it the largest waterfall in China and one of the most famous waterfalls in the world. It is named after the abundance of "Huangguoshu" trees on both sides. Surrounded by dense forests, gorges, caves, stone forests, and stone pillars, it is a typical karst landscape.
The water cascades down from a height of 77.8 meters, creating a refreshing mist that cools you instantly. This breathtaking experience truly embodies the phrase "a torrent plunging down from three thousand feet" 🤣
Huangguoshu Waterfall is the only waterfall in the world that can be viewed from six different angles (above, below, front, back, left, and right). What's even more unique is the ability to walk into the Water Curtain Cave behind the waterfall 💦, offering a view of the cascading water from the inside out. When sunlight shines 🌞, you might even catch a glimpse of a beautiful rainbow 🌈.
Best seasons: July, August, October - The water flow is just right, ensuring the viewing platforms are not submerged, and the water is crystal clear.
