- External transportation
- High-speed rail: Take the high-speed rail from Guiyang North Station to Anshun West Station, which only takes about 30 minutes and costs about 46.5 yuan. After exiting the station, you can take a minibus from Anshun West Bus Station to Huangguoshu Bus Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes and the fare is 22 yuan.
- Coach: From Guiyang Jinyang Coach Station, you can reach Huangguoshu Scenic Area in about 2 hours. The ticket price is 60 yuan.
- Self-driving: Starting from Guiyang, the distance is about 130 kilometers, the driving time is about 1 hour and 40 minutes, and the toll is about 66 yuan.
- Internal transportation: There are sightseeing buses in the scenic area, which run in a circle between the three scenic spots of the Big Waterfall, Doupotang and Tianxing Bridge, connecting each scenic spot.

- Tour route: If you have enough time, you can arrange a two-day tour. On the first day, visit Tianxing Bridge-Doupotang, and go to the Big Falls early on the second day. If you want to visit for a day, you can choose the Tianxing Bridge-Big Waterfall-Doupotang route if you arrive at noon; if you enter the park early in the morning, you can choose the Big Waterfall-Tianxing Bridge-Doupotang route.
- Required items: Bring your Mainland China ID card. You must swipe your Mainland China ID card to enter the scenic area. Prepare a raincoat to prevent getting wet when visiting the Grand Waterfall and Water Curtain Cave.
- Save energy: Tourists with poor physical strength can purchase tickets for the Grand Falls escalator and the Tianxing Bridge cableway to save energy.
