A Day Stroll in Zhenyuan, Guizhou

This time we stayed at Jiangshanji · Jixiang Shanju homestay, where the balcony offers views of the ancient town and distant mountains. The small town is built along the mountains and water. We stayed halfway up the hillside overlooking the entire town, which was beautiful. When the lights came on at dusk, it was a different scene. Our family took a small boat for a round trip in the middle of the river, and the night view was stunning. Qinglong Cave is also worth a visit; it combines Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, and folk architecture, integrated with the rock face, and is known as the Hanging Temple of the South. The overall temperature in Zhenyuan is slightly higher than in Guiyang because it is a small basin that retains heat, so be sure to take precautions against heatstroke in summer.
