Zhongshan Xishan Temple, located on Xishan in Shiqi, has a long history. It was originally a place for local scholar Mao Kezhen to study, and later evolved into a solemn Buddhist temple.

After many expansions and renovations, Xishan Temple has now become a popular Buddhist holy place. You can reach the destination by climbing up the stairs from the intersection of Minzu Road North and Sunwen Middle Road, crossing the First Peak and Liumian Ancient Road.

As soon as you step into the temple, you will see Maitreya Buddha sitting on a lotus platform, greeting every visitor with a smile on his face. Behind him is the majestic Weituo Bodhisattva, who is known as the guardian deity.

The layout of the temple is rigorous, with the guest hall on the right, the dormitory on the left, and the bell tower and drum tower on both sides. Passing through the patio, there is the second building. The main hall is the Main Hall, on the right is the Guanyin Hall, and on the left are the Ksitigarbha Hall and the Duobao Pagoda Hall.
