Yunfeng Temple, located 4 kilometers southeast of Yingjing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, is a scenic spot steeped in religious culture. The scenic area comprises three sections: a religious and cultural area, an agricultural and ecological area, and a natural ecological and tourist area. In 1954, Yunfeng Temple, with its ancient atmosphere, was designated a Xikang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Site, and in 1992, a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Site.
Temple fairs are held annually on the ninth day of the first lunar month, the nineteenth day of the second lunar month, and the nineteenth day of the sixth lunar month. Pilgrims flock to Yunfeng Temple, creating a vibrant scene. The temple boasts three wonders: ancient nanmu trees, sacred water, and Taihu rocks; and three unique features: the pagoda, the wind tunnel, and the swaying pavilion stele. This has attracted numerous literati and poets, including Zhang Daqian, Xu Shiyou, and Liu Wenhui, who have composed poems, painted, and scribbled calligraphy. The temple's thousand-year-old nanmu trees, ginkgo trees, and ancient fir trees tower over the ground, casting a shadow that blocks out the sun, creating a natural "oxygen bar," making it a popular tourist destination.
