Huaiyang Taihao Mausoleum:
This large-scale ancient architectural complex is a mausoleum and temple built in memory of Taihao Fuxi, the first of the Three Emperors, and is known as the "First Mausoleum in the World".
Located on the banks of Longhu Lake in Huaiyang District, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, it is a national 5A tourist attraction and a national key cultural relics protection unit.
It was built in the first year of the Zhengtong era of the Ming Dynasty (1436) and covers a large area. The architectural scale is grand, the layout is reasonable, and the cultural connotation is rich.
The main buildings include the Wuchao Gate, Daoyi Gate, Xiantian Gate, Taiji Gate, Tongtian Hall, Xianren Hall, etc. The gates and halls are heavy, like the palace of the emperor.
Every year from the second day of the second lunar month to the third day of the third lunar month, a grand Taihao Mausoleum Temple Fair will be held, attracting millions of people from all over the world to seek their roots, pay homage to their ancestors, and pray for blessings.
