The only way to reach the Putuo Mountain Scenic Area is to take a ferry to the Putuo Mountain Pier to the island. It takes about 15 minutes by boat from the Shenjiamen Banshengdong Pier and the Zhujiajian Wugongshi Pier.

Puji Zen Temple
Ji Zen Temple, also known as the "front temple", is large in scale. It is the main temple dedicated to Guanyin in Putuo Mountain and the largest temple in Putuo Mountain. All major events are held here. Tickets: 5 yuan

Fayu Zen Temple
Fayu Zen Temple, also known as the "Hou Temple", is located at the foot of Guangxi Peak at the northern end of Qianbusha. It is the second largest temple. The Nine Dragons caisson and some glazed tiles on the roof of the Nine Dragons Hall in the temple were demolished from the Ming Dynasty palace in Nanjing and are one of the three treasures of Putuo Mountain. Located on Foding Mountain, Huiji Zen Temple is the highest temple in Putuo Mountain.

Nanhai Guanyin
The symbol of Putuo Mountain, Guanyin jumped on the hill at the southern end of Shuangfeng Mountain, becoming the symbol of the "Buddhist Kingdom of Sea and Sky". Tickets: 6 yuan

📝Note tips:

Search "Putuoshan Yimatong" in the boat ticket applet. The ticket price is 220 yuan/person, including round-trip boat tickets + scenic spot tickets. You can enter by swiping your ID card when taking the boat

Be sure to bring more cash. The incense at the gate costs 5-6 yuan and needs cash to buy. The coin box also needs cash

You can buy incense at the entrance of Puji Temple, and the price is between 66-99! Three incense sticks are enough for worshiping Buddha. A bucket of incense is enough to worship the entire Putuo Mountain. The unused incense can be taken home for blessing

Don't step on the threshold when entering the temple. Men's left foot and women's right foot should step in first. Be calm and don't be impatient

Don't take pictures of Buddha statues. Buddha statues cannot be photographed! If you want to take pictures, you can go to Nanhai Guanyin Square where you can take pictures. Be careful not to only take pictures of the half-body of the Buddha statue when taking pictures
