Zhoushan Free Beach Guide!

Besides enjoying seafood, another must-do in Zhoushan is admiring the sea. Here are several free spots to enjoy the ocean views.

Free sea-viewing spots:
Zhangzhou Bay - A well-equipped coastal area with ample space, surrounded by numerous homestays.
Accommodation tip: The sea-view area here is limited, and homestay prices tend to be high. Consider staying at downtown hotels which offer better service and dining options.
Seafood advice: Avoid eating at beachside stalls. Opt for chain-operated seafood restaurants for affordable prices and better quality.
Transportation: Zhoushan is compact, making taxis very convenient with fares typically around ¥20.
Note: Zhangzhou Bay has one-way traffic, making self-driving somewhat challenging.

Another free option is Xiaowutang, which is also worth visiting.
