A Day Trip to Zhuhai: The Most Touching Scenery Is Often Unexpected

I woke up on the weekend suddenly wanting to see the sea, so I immediately got up and rushed to the high-speed railway station to go to Zhuhai.

I feel that trips without detailed plans often bring more surprises.

I took a taxi to the area around Qinglv Road and strolled along the seaside.
Around noon, I hadn't looked for anything to eat nearby, and as I was walking, I saw a restaurant called "Macau Street Food Stall (Jida Branch)" around the corner.
I ordered a signature char siu rice dish. The sauce was sweet but not greasy, and the meat was tender.
(I was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures, and I'm still regretting it now…)

After lunch, I originally wanted to find a cafe to sit in.
But when I was checking my phone for nearby attractions, Jingshan Park popped up, and I immediately changed my mind, making up for the regret of always wanting to go but never having gone.
I bought a combined cable car + slide ticket, and it only took 3 minutes to go up the mountain.
From the viewing platform at the top of the mountain, you can see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the entire sea.

When I reached the top of the mountain, I started taking pictures, and then I saw a greenway next to it, so I walked a short distance and took a look at the scenery on the other side of the greenway.

On the way back down the mountain to the slide entrance, I saw a calico cat curled up on the steps basking in the sun. As I walked, I suddenly saw what appeared to be either sisters or a pair of old friends taking pictures. The one being photographed posed, and the one taking the picture raised her phone. I vaguely heard her directing the pose. It was quite amusing.

Following the signs, I walked to the slide entrance and lined up to wait for the car.
The car zipped down the track, and the speed was quite fast.
I couldn't help but scream as I went around the corners, and the blue sky and sea at the foot of the mountain rushed towards me. It was extremely exhilarating!

After going down the mountain, I walked to the nearby "City Balcony."
I went into a dessert shop and ate a big bowl of herbal jelly, and I immediately felt satisfied.
During this time, I felt the waves washing over the beach again and again, as if they were also washing away my worries.

**Useful Tips**
1. Jingshan Park is not big, taking the cable car up and the slide down is just right.
2. You can't hold your phone on the slide, so it's recommended to hang it around your neck or put it in your bag beforehand.
