Zhuhai New Yuanming Palace | A Journey Back in Time

The New Yuanming Palace is a theme park located at the foot of Shilin Mountain in Zhuhai, China, situated on Lanpu, Jiuzhou Avenue. The park's name is derived from the Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan), which was burned down by the Anglo-French Allied Forces. The park is modeled after the architecture of the Old Summer Palace before it was destroyed, featuring 18 of the 40 scenic spots from the original palace, all built to a 1:1 scale. Although these are replicas, visiting them offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the original palace, which no longer exists, and allows visitors to experience the majesty of a small royal garden.

🧱Environment: The architecture is mainly divided into three categories: classical Chinese Ming and Qing dynasty garden architecture, Jiangnan gardens, and classical Western-style buildings.

Special Programs: The New Yuanming Palace offers guided tours to help visitors understand modern Chinese history, Qing dynasty culture, and the life of the emperors. The most renowned large-scale performances are 'The Great Qing Dynasty' and 'The Great Qing Naval Battle,' with content regularly updated.

📍Address: Intersection of Lanpu Road and Baishi Road, Jiuzhou Avenue, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City
🎟️Tickets: Free tickets can be obtained at the ticket office on the left side of the New Yuanming Palace Square with relevant identification. After 6 PM, regular admission fees apply. Performance venues are separate from the scenic area, and related programs still require payment.
🕰️Opening Hours: Free admission from 9 AM to 6 PM daily.
