I flew to Yinchuan for my birthday this year and spent the weekend there.
I stayed at Anmo. I really liked the design of the entire hotel. The color scheme blended in with the Helan Mountains, making it look very comfortable and unique.
When they saw it was my birthday, the hotel front desk kindly upgraded me to a suite. The 270-degree terrace was huge and perfect for drinking and chatting while stargazing at night.
When I returned to my room in the afternoon on my birthday, I saw that the hotel had arranged "Happy Birthday" on the bed with flower petals. Although the aesthetics could be improved, it was still very thoughtful.
Anmo is mainly composed of detached houses, so there is a distance from the room to the restaurant and the lobby. It can be a bit hot during the day, but many guests take a walk outside at night, and the evening breeze is very pleasant.
The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but the taste was not outstanding. I guess you can't expect too much from a newly opened hotel, haha.
I visited many wineries in the meantime and was deeply impressed by domestic wines. I'll find time to write a separate article!
