Dong’ao Island ⛅️

We arrived at Dong’ao Island in the late morning, as sunlight poured across the bay and the water shimmered in shades of blue and jade 🌞🏝️. The island felt like a quiet retreat lush green hills rising behind soft white beaches, and a stillness that wrapped around you like a breeze.

We swam in the gentle waves of Lover’s Beach, where the sand was fine and nearly empty, then hiked a hillside trail where butterflies flitted between wildflowers 🦋🌿 Time didn’t seem to matter here the hours passed slowly, with only the sound of wind in the trees and the sea brushing the shore. It wasn’t just a scenic getaway it was a pocket of calm, perfect for resting, wandering, and watching the horizon blur into sky.
