In Beishan Courtyard, a cultural and creative district in Zhuhai, there's a popular and well-known Southeast Asian restaurant called "Chan Ji," specializing in bak kut teh and Hainanese chicken rice.

1️⃣ The Hainanese chicken rice is a must-try.

The chicken is boneless and very tender and shiny, while the chicken rice is incredibly fragrant!

It comes with four sauces, so you can choose your favorite dipping sauce.

2️⃣ The bak kut teh is herbal, not peppery. The pork bones are generously portioned, tender, and flavorful.

(We also ordered fried dough sticks, which softened and absorbed the broth very well.)

3️⃣ The fresh butter kaya toast is crispy and comes in 3 small pieces.

The food is generally good 👍🏻
