Emerald Waters Hide Emotions, Challenges and Paradise Coexist

Dayu Valley, an AAAA-level tourist attraction located in Muer Township, Gannan, Gansu, is a paradise for nature lovers. The total area of the scenic spot is 105,214.6 hectares, boasting picturesque natural scenery. Especially the water in Ajiu Valley, which is like a piece of pure jade, clear and green, reflecting the surrounding steep mountains and peaks, making people feel relaxed and happy.
The scenic area is divided into two routes. One route is Ajiu Valley, where you can see mountains, water, and canyons, which is the route I took. The other route is Qibu Valley, where you can hike and see snow-capped mountains.

Must-visit attractions:

Ajiu Valley section: The water here is clear, sometimes cascading like a waterfall, sometimes flowing like silk, incredibly beautiful. Especially its pure water quality, like emerald embedded in the valley, is an excellent spot for photography enthusiasts.
Qibu Valley section: A must for hiking enthusiasts! It requires great physical strength
Yixiantian: Starting from Fairy Beach, hike to Fairy Lake, then look far to Yixiantian. Although the hike takes two hours, the scenery along the way is breathtaking and worth a try.

Warm Tips :
Be sure to keep warm and protect yourself from the sun: Dayu Valley has a high altitude and the weather changes greatly, so it is recommended to bring enough warm clothing and sunscreen.
It is very, very cold in the morning, so cold that you shiver, so be sure to wear a jacket.
It is very sunny at noon. I didn't get sunburned, but my friend got dermatitis, so friends with delicate skin must use sunscreen.

Toilet experience: It should be noted that the toilets in the scenic area are very smelly, so smelly that I gagged. Friends who want to use the toilet should do so at the visitor service center before entering the scenic area.

There is a smell of cow dung in some parts of the scenic area, which is due to the local living habits. The smell of cow dung is not too bad and not too disgusting.

The altitude of Dayu Valley is over 4,000 meters. Friends who may experience altitude sickness should be cautious and not travel alone. It is recommended to bring a companion.

Dayu Valley does have some minor flaws, such as the incomplete toilet facilities, but these flaws do not overshadow its beauty. Dayu Valley is still a place worth visiting.
