# Time travel to the past
Recently, we decided to make it a point to visit as many Hotels as possible.
One of which, happened to be the Zibo Hotel.
Upon entering the Hotel's foyer, there is a sense of old fashioned charm and timeless elegance.
The Lobby Lounge and Foyer areas, resembles a time, where features were dramatised.
As many as five Victorian style chandeliers, and a classic spiral staircase, gives it a sense of luxury and style.
The rooms and suites, are adequate, as they are spacious, and fairly well designed.
Sadly, the hotel has aged quit a lot, since it opened in 1999.
Personally, I enjoyed the Hotel's Architecture and classic finishes (within the public spaces), as well as the Restaurant "The Food Plaza".
The room itself, well, I did not enjoy it as much as the rest of the Hotel.
My personal preference being a more modern bedroom, with a softer bed.
Nevertheless, it was an interesting visit.
For a moment in time, it was as if we were back in the 90's.
