A photo in *National Geographic* planted a seed of longing in my heart, so I embarked on an exploratory journey to Getu River in Guizhou. Although I was unable to witness the mystical "God Light" with my own eyes, as a northerner, I was still deeply impressed by the unique caves here. It felt like stepping into a real-life version of *Grave Robbers' Chronicles*, embarking on a fantastical adventure.

Enter through the main gate and first arrive at Swallow Cave to experience the spectacular sight of flocks of swallows. Then, proceed to Wangtian Cave to experience the wondrous perspective of looking up at the sky. Afterward, embark on the Tongtian Plank Road to challenge yourself. Next, reach Chuanshang Cave to explore the wonders of nature. Then, head to the Manggu Wharf and take a boat to the Dahe Miao Village to experience the unique ethnic customs. Finally, return by boat along the same route, concluding this wonderful journey.

Friendly Tips

1. The section from Swallow Cave to Chuanshang Cave involves a strenuous climb with significant physical exertion. The route to Wangtian Cave includes a flight of stairs, which might be challenging for those with a fear of heights. Therefore, climbing is not recommended for the elderly and children. Please pay attention to safety.

2. If you wish to witness the magical "God Light," the best time is from September to March of the following year, and you must arrive before 10:00 am. Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance and choose a clear day to maximize your chances of seeing the "God Light."

3. The scenic river route to Dahe Miao Village offers breathtaking views. The emerald green water and lush vegetation bear some resemblance to the scenery of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo, making it definitely worth a visit.

4. Besides self-driving, if you choose public transportation, you can first take a bus from Anshun to Ziyun. After arriving in Ziyun, there are small buses to Getu River. However, these small buses may sometimes be unavailable due to various reasons, so be sure to inquire in advance to avoid delays.

5. This place usually has few tourists, making it ideal for those who dislike crowds and enjoy peaceful travel. Especially for photography enthusiasts, you can freely create without worrying about being disturbed.
