Jining Zoucheng Shangjiushan‖Go to the historical ancient village for the New Year.
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, I went to the ancient village of Shangjiushan. It really had a strong New Year atmosphere, and for those whose hometown is in the countryside, it brought back many childhood memories. Taking photos and checking in were very picturesque.
You need to buy a ticket at the entrance on the left side. The individual ticket is 56 yuan, and there should be a discount if you have a student ID. You don't need to provide an ID card when buying the ticket; you can purchase it directly at the entrance.
The scenic area is 20 to 30 km away from the city center, so self-driving or joining a tour group is recommended. Public transportation is relatively inconvenient. However, during the New Year, there are a lot of people, and parking might be a bit far.
There are many snack vendors at the entrance and on the mountain, but the prices are relatively higher.
You can take a small train at the entrance, but the journey is very short. It is a paid project costing ten yuan.
The main feature inside is that the layout of the ancient village is well preserved. The houses are mainly built with stones, and their internal functions have been repurposed into various rural customs exhibition halls. It has a strong local flavor and memorable points. It is definitely worth a visit.
